Last Friday when there was no Bacardi to be had in the house I was in, I went into meltdown mode when my boyfriend told me he had a cd he knew I'd love. He proceeded to play my late husband's favorite cd and as the first few notes came on I freaked. Of course, he's not the most stable himself, so not only did I have my own freakout to enjoy, I had his also, as a result of mine. Yeah, fun.
So tonight I'm over at my former nonsignificant other's house, which we both own. Last night during mutual meltdowns, my boyfriend really annoyed the shit out of me, and for the second time that day I wanted to hurt him bad. I already hurt him bad mentally, and I wanted to hurt him physically. I had to get away from him, I really really wanted to hurt him physically.

Did you ever have a project so big and overwhelming you didn't know where to start? Then have a friend who promised you something for it let you down because they forgot? I know it wasn't intentional, so I can't be mad, just down & wondering what next. The roof leaks, the plumbing and electrical need redoing, and it needs a septic tank. All this necessary stuff, but all I'm thinking about right now is how I'm going to do my walls, and if I can hook up a stereo receiver with built in speakers. Common sense? The closest thing I have to it is a bottle of pennies!

One small thing at a time...one day at a time. Try to just focus on that one thing until it's finished, if you can, then move on to the next thing. Baby steps :) You can do it!
