I'm a perpetual student of the school of hard knocks, kind of like never being able to graduate. The graduation date is unknown, uncertain and unavailable, but that's a good thing. I will have to be a student forever, learning about myself and others, and the world in which we live. I'm your friendly neighborhood wannabe know-it-all, who really doesn't know it all, just has a great search engine, that enables me to go online to satisfy my curiosity and broaden my knowledge.

Computer addict! I'd hate to be without my DSL. My friends, my dogs, I like to sew and do crafts also, crochet and cut out and paint wood crafts. I hand sew stuffed animals, and can do handmade build a bear knockoffs. If I could learn to draft patterns for my own stuffies, I would like to.

Close Bipolar Disorder
Bipolar since mid 20's, only treated with prescription meds for last 5 years, felt and did better usually before I went for help. Did so to save a relationship that might not be worth saving anymore.
Treatments
- Depakote Not Working
- Fell out in the road and almost got run over. Immediately stopped taking it.
- Group Therapy Working / Worked
- I enjoy it and learn a lot from it, plenty of cool people there, people I can relate to.
- Lamictal Somewhat Helpful
- Little energy or motivation, no other side effects
- Seroquel Not Working
- stopped taking it, first time it made me hallucinate, scary stuff.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- am on it now, seems to be helping
Close Paranoia
My paranoia comes along with my bipolar disorder, kinda like those buy one, get one free deals, lol. It comes & goes, and I feel it worse when I'm around other paranoid people.

- I keep it in my mind that is one of my symptoms. I try to figure out how reasonable my particular paranoia of the moment is and act accordingly as best as I can.
Open Schizophrenia
I'm bipolar but have symptoms in common with those who have schizophrenia. One of the most important people in my life is schizophrenic and we're both trying to get stable.

- We talk a lot about our experiences and are trying to learn more about it online and offline because education is important.
