      Aw, don't sweat the small stuff! A lot of people get a little goofy in the beginning of a relationship. And you're right, it probably is just anxiety. You can use this OOPS to your advantage, though. If you appologize for whatever goofy thing you said, you will: 1) Let him know you are aware of what you said, and it is out of character for you. 2) See how he responds to it. If he regards your feelings, he will smile and say something encouraging, or just brush it off. If he doesn't, he may say some kind of demeaning remark, and you don't want to go there with anybody...a common way men try to control their relationships.
