    Thanks for being so inspiring! It REALLY is night time that is the most challenging of all- Dinner and beyond is almost impossible for me. I give in every night. Ugh

    Lila,

    Good for you for not going to the frosting and chocolate chips- Do you realize how AMAZING that is? That is really a huge step. At least the Wheat Thins were partially healthy and not loaded with sugar, right? And the fact that you stopped yourself before it got worse is really important. That is something I need to work on desperately. I tend to think that once I have binged at all- it's a free for all and I should just continue.

    Lila,

    I went NUTS on Saturday and binged on everything in sight. I am pre-menstrual right now and have been all week but that's no excuse. I really need to focus. I suppose the best thing is to just keep moving on and trying. Thanksgiving will be a huge struggle- but I admire you for making such an attempt. I can't say for certain that I will make it through without going crazy again. But you should be VERY proud of yourself!!!!

    Sounds like you are doing well, Lila! You should be VERY proud of yourself! I have been overeating etc, but am still staying away from refined sugar. I DO need to eliminate those trigger foods though- I think that is essential.

    Not sure what on earth I am going to do about Thanksgiving, though. Any thoughts on your end about that?

    Hi Lila!

    Well, I have been bingeing on my dinner items, for instance- I will have serving after serving and will eat beyond feeling sick to my stomach, and nuts/almonds, sugar free fudgsicles, and things like that. I really have to stop buying snack foods because I often eat the entire thing in one sitting sometimes. But today (and last night) I still haven't had sugar at least.

    How have you been doing???

    Sometimes I find OA meetings helpful and sometimes I don't. I think its different for different people. The first meeting I ever went to seemed so strange but then I went back again and you get used to it and realise it isnt that strange at all really. Its a good way of meeting people who suffer from the same difficulties with food and a good way of getting support and making new friends. If you google overeaters annonymous (i dont know if ive spelt that right) you should find a list of meetings near to you.
    I'm feeling really low and frightened today. I hope you are well and that the sugar detox is going well. I havn't quite got the hang of this website yet but i'm sending you lots of love and encouragement.xx
