Close Diets & Weight Maintenance
Trying to lose the baby weight and get back to pre-baby size..but also lose another 10 lbs after that. I've learned that diets don't work and u have to change the way u eat and exercise on a regular basis to maintain weight and be healthy.
Treatments
- Atkins Diet Working / Worked
- I did Atkins back in 2005 and part of 2006 it worked really well but of course your restricted on what u can eat which in the end isn't good. I've now just learned to eat LOW carb...not NO carb...and that works as well.
- Counting Calories Working / Worked
- I've never been big on calorie counting...sometimes i just don't know how many calories are in my chicken breast..since they always seem to vary in size as with other foods as well...sooo i just try and ball park it most days.
- Eating Healthier Foods Working / Worked
- I didn't really grow up eating lots of healthy foods, didn't have to finish my veggies like most kids had to, so now in my adult life i'm trying certain fruit and veggies i've never tried in my life. Now i see the importance of eating well.
- Eat Less Working / Worked
- I've always had a problem with portion control..still do. I can eat enough to feed 3 people. I also go through periods of binging on whatever is in the house, these are things i'm currently working on, but it's hard to say the least.
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- Slim-Fast Somewhat Helpful
- I keep these in the house for emergencies..when i don't have time to make breakfast. I just think there is way too much sugar in these, but they are convenient if your just replacing one meal a day with one.
