About Me
I am 29 and I found out that I had lupus when I was 19. That was right after I had my daughter. I am back on dialysis, have been for the past few months.I'm just trying to take it a day at a time. I won't take any thing for my little one and I wouldn't do anything any different. I'm still living at home with my parents b/c of all of my med. problems. It is sometimes hard for me to take care of her by myself when I'm not feeling well. So I am very thankful to them for that.

Interests
Of course I love spending time with my little girl, playing games with her, going out shopping, well just anything that we can do together. But sometimes I just like to get away and spend a little time to myself. I like to read. I really do enjoy taking pictures and keeping a scrapbook. Family is very important to me so I try to spend as much time with them as I can...although not too much time...lol

Close Lupus
When I was 19 I found out that I had Lupus. It was right after I had my daughter. I've had one kidney transplant and now I'm back on dialysis.
Treatments
- Cellcept Working / Worked
- they put me on cellcept because of the transplant
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- I thought that the plaquenil always did good things for me. I did really have any side effects from it.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Now the prednisone did help but I hate taking it. It depends on how much they put you on but I gained alot of weight from it.
Close Anxiety
I'm here so that I can talk to other people that are having the same issuses that I am. I think that the people that are going through the samething understands better than those that aren't.
Treatments
- Ativan Working / Worked
- this is what they gave me in the hospital, it seemed to help a bit more than others.
- BuSpar Working / Worked
- it didn't do too much for me, i felt like it wasn't helping at all
- Klonopin Working / Worked
- its been awhile since I have taken this one but from what i remember it did alright
- Paxil Working / Worked
- I liked this one but it stopped working after awhile...
- Valium Working / Worked
- I think this one has helped the best for me, it seems like it controls my panic feelings better than others that I have tried.
- Xanax Working / Worked
- this one seems to be helping out alot
- Zoloft Working / Worked
- I have just gone up to 150mg on this and it is somewhat working but I have been on it for so long that I'm not sure if there is anything eles I can get from it??
Open Bipolar Disorder
I'm wanting to talk to others that are going through the same thing I am with this disorder. Someone to just listen...

- it didn't do anything to help how I felt.
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- wellbutrin didn't help with the bipolar but it helped me with smoking there for awhile
Open Chronic Pain
I have Lupus and some other things going on and the pain never stops. I have been going through this for 10yrs now and it doesn't get any easier...
Treatments
- Flexeril Working / Worked
- I'm on this now and it seems to be helpig....
- Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful
- there are a few of these that I have tried and they have helped a little but not like others that I'm on now
- Lidoderm Somewhat Helpful
- this was a little helpful but I have had other things that helped more than this.
- Lyrica Not Working
- this was the worse thing that I have ever taken..I had all kinds of side effects..jerking, sleeping all the time, swelling of my face, couldn't talk right at all. Just tottaly bad!!!
- Methadone Working / Worked
- it helped out alot in the begining but slowly stopped working
- Morphine Working / Worked
- this helps to a point and I haven't had any side effects at all with this one. I haven't been on it for too long this time so for now it is working
- Nerve Blocks Not Working
- did nothing for me at all!!
- Oxycodone Somewhat Helpful
- there are a few of these that I have tried and they have helped more than others that I have taken. Really no side effects from any of them.

- i don't remember having any side effects from this one either

- had one in 2001 and it worked great for almost 7yrs back on dialysis

- did great when my kidneys worked
