About Me
I'm a writer by profession, which is sedentary and part of the problem with my osteoporosis. I can't exercise as much as I should because of a chronic problem with my knee, but I'm hoping physical therapy will help, and I'm looking into the WAVE machines for vibrational therapy.

Thanks for the info, I really dont know what to do, if I knew it would help I would splash out and get one of these machines but I reallt dont know what to do.Did you see the post someone wrote saying that it hadnt helped her! Hugs.
Congrats
Congrats! Any titles I'd know? Will be praying for your proposal! I was writing my first romantic suspense when I had my MTBI. It's a fun genre. I've published mostly plays, short stories, humor stories & columns, songs & poetry, & devotionals. I've self published a couple of kids books. I'm hoping to eventually get well enough to get back to writing, but it's a tough hill yet to climb. lol How many titles do you have? Blessings.
I’m With You
Happy New Year! Hope this new year brings you all you hope for! I used to be a writer before my head injury. What genre do you write in? Blessings! Lynda :-)

Close Osteoporosis
I'm in my sixties and osteoporosis runs in my family. I have two compressio fractions of the spine and have been diagnosed with it.
Treatments
- Fosamax Too Soon to Tell
- Mostly fine. Some problem with loose bowels.
Close Migraine Headaches
I started having migraines during menopause. I've never had them before. I've experienced auras, nausea, light sensitivity and mild to moderate headaches that go on for days. I haven't taken any medication, except some natural meds that didn't seem to help. I thought it was hormonal, too much estrogen perhaps, so stopped using Femring, at the lowest dose. the migraines eased up for a couple months, but now they're back. I'm at a loss. I have no idea what to do.
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- This does seem to help. Red wine seems to be the worst trigger. Also, chocolate, which I love!
- Botulin Toxin Somewhat Helpful
- This helped, but it's very expensive, so I stopped. I reduced the headaches, but I still had some nausea and light sensitivity.
- Caffeine Somewhat Helpful
- Occasionally caffeine helps. Mostly it makes me feel worse. I avoid it.
