How are you doing & how is your Mama? I know how rough it is as my Papa bounces back and forth between remembering and circles of repeated stories that can go on for an hour or more... he's so sweet that just to be able to talk with him makes it OK... It's hardest on my Mama and youngest brother who live with him 24/7. Praying for you both. Hang in there sis and may you be blessed and refreshed in the doing.

Close Alzheimer's Disease
Stage: AdvancedMom is 84 and is in the later stages of AD. She had mini strokes and that led to the AD. She is pleasant and still able to do some things for herself. But she does require 24/7 assistance. She doesn't talk, maybe a word here or there, but she smiles most of the time and communicates with her facial gestures. She eats well, uses the bathroom with some assistance, but doesn't sleep through the night; that is one of the difficult parts - not getting much sleep.
