Diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 15, havent been on any meds since i wz 18, im now 22 and have just given birth to my beautiful baby girl, Lucy Elise. Never ever thought it would happen 4 us. She's our little miracle. Currently coping with severe anxiety, relating to my step-daughters behaviour, doubled with the fact that I have just given birth and feel like I cant cope with both situations at once, so I have been prescribed diazepam for anxiety relief and have been told 2 concentrate on myself and the baby, just gotta take each day as it comes and roll with it I suppose.

I was diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 15, along with hypoglycaemia and an underactive thyroid. None of the above really bothered me until I met my fiancee and we started to talk about having children. My fiancee has a wonderful 6yr daughter who lives with us and whom I adore and have taken on as my own (her biological mother passed away),she even calls me mammy! and now we have just found out that were expectin a new addition to the family!!!
Was told having children would basically be 'mission Impossible'(PCOS) but found out on 23rd September that I'm pregnant! We just had our anomaly scan on the 7th January and all is well, due date is 9/5/09. Were having a girl!! Shes perfectly healthy and happy in there! Me and fiance, Scott, are so excited as this is our first child together, although I do have a 7yr old step-daughter, Chloe, my fiances from a previous marriage, who lives with us. Chloe is sooooo excited to be a big sister!!
Since having my baby girl 2 weeks ago, I am constantly anxious about pretty much everything, but it mostly relates to my 8yr old step-daughter. She is a handful to say the least. I am finding it very hard to cope, and each day seems to be getting harder insread of easier. It's now at the point where I have to consider moving back to my mums for the sake of my newborn. Something I really dont want to have to do, I dont want my daughter growing up in a house without her Daddy.
I have an 8yr old step daughter, Chloe, who I have raised since she was 3yrs old and I was 17. She is a handful to put in nicely. I love her 2 pieces but she has caused some major problems for our family and is slowly tearing me and her father apart, and basically I'm just looking for a little support, and maybe a few answers from others who have been in this situation themselves. Feel stuck in a hole.
