What does it look like after the scab falls off? Is the scar worse than a small NF? I've recenlty had a few cut out by a dermatologist, but it almost seems the scar is more noticable than the NF was. I still prefer a flat scar to a bump, cause lots of people have scars, but wouldn't want big red scars all over...-

Close Neurofibromatosis
I am a 40 year old married female with 4 children. I have nfi and have many tumors. Though I am considered mild, I still cannot wear long sleeves because my arms are covered in them. I feel alone since I live in a community where everyone is perfect. I have had many surgeries including a large one last year.I also have a lot of pain assoc. with it. I am a writer, musician. I am always bubbly in front of people to hide my pain. I feel as if I am the only person who does not have perfect skin.
Close Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
Hi. I am a 40 year old woman with 4 children. I also have a tumor disease called nf.. I was having leg pain 10 days ago, and when I went for a test, a clot was discovered in my thigh.....I have undergone sooo many surgeries unrelated to this.. I do not think my mind can absorb having another medical problem.....
Treatments
- Coumadin Working / Worked
- I am currently taking 8mg of Warfarin.. I have no side affects as of yet....
Open Fibromyalgia
Hi. I have neurofibromatosis a tumor disease, fibromyalgia, and a blood clot in my right thigh. I have had too many operations to count including major head surgery because of tumor snear but not in the brain. I have 4 beautiful children ages 15-2. I am a writer and musician and love to travel around the world. However I am in constant pain and always tired because of my dieseases.....
