Open Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
It is not Carpal Tunnel I have,but similar..I have Dupyutren's Syndrome..which is a genetic condition,whereby the tendons on the hand develop thickening growth,puling the fingers into wards the palm of the hand.Correctable by surgery..so they say
Treatments
- Carpal Tunnel Release Surgery Too Soon to Tell
- Had surgery more than 2 years ago and was off work for 8 months and only one hand done
- Ibuprofen Working / Worked
- Now off all the medication..Ibrupopen,cocodamil,Amitryptilene,and Gabapentin
- Wrist Splint Working / Worked
- was alright in giving control of pain when needed..but the long term effects were they were begining to affect my behaviour towards other people,,but better now i no longer need them
- Occupational Therapy Working / Worked
- Same as for physio
