Close Bipolar Disorder
i ahve tried everything on this list and some things work for awhile but nothing works very long. The side effects are horrible for me. I quit my seroquel on Aug. 8 since it nearly killed me. I have to wait until Mon to see nurse to try to get something becauise I am having a major attack. Thank God for my family hangin in there with me. This disease is hell!!!

- Seroquel Somewhat Helpful
- it worked, but a side effect is causing diabetes and pancreatitus and there is a class action U.S. lawsuit against the makers of seroquel. It also caused an 80 lb weight gain for me since severe hunger pangs can come an hbour after taking it. That meant I was up, asleep eating all night. I nearly died from it 2 weeks ago because i consumed a large amount of sugar and am an insulin dependent diabetic and my morning sugar was nearly 700! Your "full feeling" mechanism does not work an d you even eat in your sleep

Close MRSA
I had a large cyst removed from the bottom part of my left lung through a large inscision in my right back. I flatlined so they left the open cyst sitting in my right side while they stabilized me. They did not remove the "arms" of it wrapped around my aorta. 6 months later MRSA was found coming out the right side. The cyst was full of it. It has rewalled itself off and has to be entirely removed again. Feeling pretty scared--don't want to get so sick again.

Open Bereavement
Type: Loss of a FriendMy best friend, my "sister" really, died last night at 10 PM. There is a hole in my heart and it feels like a heavy weight is on my chest. I keep thinking I will wake up and it is a bad dream. She and I spoke several times a day. She was one of those friends you can count on one hand. For some reason I am blaming myself. I should have been there. There is a chance her daughter killed her over a small inheritance she received less than a week ago. I feel beside myself. What to do?

Open COPD & Emphysema
I was diagnosed with COPD and chronic emphysema April 07. I cannot seem to quit smoking which makes me mad at myself. I don't feel too bad from this disease most of the time, but some of my other conditions are worse.

I am a 3 pack a day smoker right now while going through the death of my dearest friend. Was about a pack and a half. Smoking (COPD/congestive heart failure) killed my friend. I don't quite want to die yet. I have a "bucket list" and intend to do as many things as possible. I also have COPD/chronic emphysema and awaiting findings on lung cancer. So it is a matter of life and death and I am mad at myself for not just quitting and staying "quit". I need a plan to quit for good.

Open Diabetes Type 2
I was diagnosed with Type 2 about 4 or 5 years ago. Firdt pills, then insulin shots daily with fast acting insulin as necessary. Hate this disease!

Open Sleep Apnea
Was diagnosed with SA 4 yrs ago, but no new sleep study done and the machine is set too high I think. I try to start with it on, but my ears blow out and hurt. It ends up on the floor during the night. Air mask leaks when I sleep on my side.

- I don't use it because it blows my ears out and the dr. won't lower the setting.

- Haven't lost enough I guess, only 43 lbs.
