I will always dedicate this site to my Sally that I lost ... but time to update and get on ... About me ?? Am a nurse and work with ventilator dependent children in thier homes. Love animals, children, gardening, anything realted to safari print, traveling, cooking, music (mostly rock) playing guitar, singing ( lead singer, guitar and bass player in bands in past), Homeopathic medicine, taking long walks, water and a whole lot else. I love helping people and if anyone out there ever wants to say hi, vent, ask for advice or whatever pleaae do. Oh lastly and most importantly .... tee hee ... I love to laugh and have a strong belief that LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE !! PLEASE: if you invite me as a friend ... then talk to me. This is not a game on who can have the most friends. I want to be there for the ones that actually want to be "friends". Too many experiences with people who invite me to be a friend and never to be heard from again even after I try ... no response !!! I have a hard time declining anyone so I guess best to talk to me first and see if your are sure.

Gooooood morning Lisa! My son & I stopped at the Pet Store by home where they had given her the FVRCP injection. She got the bald spot shortly after the shot. Wonder if she had some allergic reaction to the shot? She's had the shot before & that never happened. Not sure. Anyway, we asked the lady there & she said if it wasn't better in a few days or the spot is getting bigger to take her in & she'll look at her. She said if it is ringworm it can be treated with OTC athlete's foot medicine as it is a fungus. I've been putting apple cider vinegar on it since yesterday 3 x's & again this A.M. once. It looks like there's a little hair growing in, but the patch looks a little bigger than before. Not sure what to think. She eats really good Holistic cat food & has had the same kind for a long, long time. There are no fillers, no corn & it's really healthy. Don't think it's from that. Hope Buster will be okay too! Lisa, have any of your cats ever had ringworm? Sora still has her bald spot on back of neck between shoulders. I looked at it last night & saw a couple small red dots. Did a bunch of research online. Doesn't really look like ringworm, but I thought after everything I've read that Apple Cider Vinegar is supposed to be the best remedy for cats & humans to treat it. Neither my son nor I have it though. I'm going to try the vinegar on her. She won't be able to lick it. It woulndn't hurt anyway & see if it does anything. I checked her all over last night & didn't see anything unusual such as ticks or fleas. Not sure what to make of it, but I don't think it's anything serious at all. We'll see what happens. Hugs

My kitty Silly Sally Buffy Raphael .. aka Sally) died on 2/8 very suddenly. She wasn't ill at all. The vet figures it was a clot and her lungs filled with fluid. I miss her terribly. I don't remember taking any of my other pets death nearly as bad as I do Sally's. I just cant seem to think of anything else.
Close Fibromyalgia
Was dx'd with FMG approximately 20 years ago. I often question if its true however as I feel it is more of a joint and spinal disc problem. However have been in chronic pain since I was 16 years old but do try my best to keep my spirits up !! KEEP ON ROCKIN !!

- Helps some but only for a very short time.

- Heat helps for the moment but pain comes right back later.

- Tried in the past. No relief.
