Close Other Ear Problems
Summer of 06 a basketball slammed into my right ear and perforated it. It healed within a few months but i forever have what ENTs refer to as a wastbasket diagnosis "Eustation Tube Dysfunction". It's hard to explain my ear issue but i'll try - When I have to hold in a burp or yawn i feel what best could be described as a puff or weak gust of wind. Its extremely bothersome, although not particually painful. Sometimes it "pops" or crackles like i were changing altitudes.
Close Tinnitus
right perforated eardrum in summer 06.It healed but now when i get a head cold i feel a periodical pulsating in the ear that is extremely bothersome. It can occur for hours on end but does seem to go away after some time.It also feels like someone is gently blowing air into my ear.I understand its not tinnitus.Any coping strategies for when i'm going through these episodes. When i fly the ear doesnt equalize the pressure well so for a few days after the flight it feels like my ears havent popped.
