Just a mom of a beautiful five year old son with Asperger's and a beautiful 3 year old daughter.
Treatments
- Occupational Therapy Too Soon to Tell
- He loved it, seemed to be going well. After three months, OT was fired and we are now looking for a replacement situation.
- Patience Working / Worked
Close Asperger Syndrome
After having trouble in preschool, my son was diagnosed at 4 3/4 yrs. old.
Treatments
- Occupational Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- Hard to say if it worked. The best thing I can say is that the therapist loved him and Mikey loved her. Any oneonone time a child spends with someone who cares about his is time wellspent.
Open ADHD / ADD
My son has Asperger's and ADHD.
Treatments
- Concerta Somewhat Helpful
- We tried this and it seemed to help him but had to discontinue after 2 separate 1 day trials b/c it caused a prounounced tic.
Open Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
My son is either ODD or on his way.

- Child Time-out Somewhat Helpful
