Close Bipolar Disorder
I have suffered from depression since I was a teenager but have recently been diagniosed with bipolar. I am having a hard time dealing with this.I hate that I have to pull my kids and husband through this mess with me. I have been on a whole host of medications and currently I feel I am on the right ones for me but it has been a very fustrating jouney.
Treatments
- Abilify Not Working
- Depakote Working / Worked
- I had ro stop taking Dapakote because although it was working for me. My liver function when crazy
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- I am currently taking this and it seems to be working
- Topamax Working / Worked
- It work for awhile but I was taking it with depakote made my liver go crazy
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- I have a simply seizure while taking this so I had to go off it. I was on a very high dose
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- currently taking and working with lamictal
Close Migraine Headaches
I am 32 years old. Hold a full time job as a neonatel nurse. I am married and have three children. I have been battling migraine since I was 16 years old.I also have chronic daily headaches.
Treatments
- Excedrin Somewhat Helpful
- works to dull the pain of my daily headaches
- Imitrex Somewhat Helpful
- worked until the med wore off then the headache was right back
- Inderal Not Working
- did not help
- Maxalt Somewhat Helpful
- worked until the med wore off then the headache would be right back
- Nerve Blocks Working / Worked
- I get nerve blocks done on some of the nerves in the back of my head which seem to be working so far. Just got the first one done last week.
- Topamax Working / Worked
- worked for awhile but I hated the side effects. Made me very forgrtful
Open Families & Friends Affected By Suicide
Im here because my Dad killed himself this past January and it has been very hard for me to understand at times and at other things want to join him
