I lost my husband of 40 yrs.to cancer. March 3, 2008 will mark two years. It has been really hard for me lately to do anything, the sadness is overwhelming. I hope to find some comfort in this support group.
I have had Sarcoidosis for 9 years. Both of my lungs are highly effected. I have been through many battles with this disease. I have had uvitis in my eyes. I recenly moved to the Houston TX area and found on of the best Rheumys I have ever been to. he is very knowledgeable about Sarcoidosis. I told him I was vey impressed, which I was. I actually think there is hope with this doctor.
Just last week I had a stomach scope and they told me the biopsy did show some Crohn cells. I am not under any treatment now for the Crohns. Still taking Protimax 40 fo my inflamed stomach. Some days I think it is getting better and then other days I feel it is starting all over again
I developed breast cancer in January 2002. I was planning my chemo and shockingly We found that my husband had a rare cancer that had mastised to his liver. I did not take my treatments but I did take the medication, Arimidex. I am still cancer free after 6 yrs. However, my husband passed away in March 2006. I am thankful for everyday God has given me.
My husband died 2 yrs ago. I seems since he died, our friends have disappeared. Life as I knew it has stopped. I have on and off depression and I think it is brought on by loneliness.
