Type: AnorexiaI was diagnosed with anorexia/bulimia 21 years ago. I've had several relapses but they didn't last long. I was able to overcome the evil grip of ED. Not this time, but I am trying and look forward to the day of being happy and eating normal.
Treatments
- Celexa Working / Worked
- Much better than Paxil - less weight gain. Was hard to come off of.
- Group Therapy Working / Worked
- Was hard to talk in front of others but sharing and understanding that I am not alone helped.
- Paxil Working / Worked
- It worked to help me out of my depression and to start eating again. It killed my libido!
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Talking helps! Having someone who listens to you and wont judge you while guiding you to feel better about yourself is a huge comfort.
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- Knowing your best friends will be there for you no matter what is a HUGE relief!
