About Me
I grew up as an only child with an over-controlling mother in a rural part of the U.S. Learned to entertain myself early on. I developed severe depression, suicidal thoughts and panics over a million what if's after my 20-year marriage dissolved. It wasn't nice. Lost my job after 20 years and am now supported by my 33 year old son. Had a 2-yr relationship with a BPD person. That was a bad move! Now in a better relationship...............I hope.

I like genealogy research, computer graphic design, jazz and new age music, crochet, knitting X-stitch and CATS. Love to watch detective shows on TV and archeology shows.

i sending the best, biggist hug i can. well being around for 60 years like you, believe me i do understand whats going on for you. I am now alone because of the same things, and i am doing a lot of relearning. its not easy but at least i am doing the best i can, and you can too. if you want a friend to talk with, just let me know...i am sorry that this hurts so much for you

Big hugs to you dear, you did the right thing and it is an act of love for your precious cat..many cats do not live to 18 yrs..I hope you find some comfort in the support here at DS and that you had 18 special years with your cat..I am a cat lover myself and I know so well how much they mean to us..Im so sorry you are hurting, if you need to talk I am here for you anytime Susy

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI'm female, 50+, depressed since age 12. Went to extreme after my 20 yr marriage collapsed. Had bouts of suicidal thoughts and plans. Had a bf for 2 yrs that was BPD (big mistake). Getting better, because of time I think, but I don't think I'll ever be cured.
