Hi! My name is Synda. I have been cutting since I was 12 years old. I am now 32. I kept it a secret until 6 years ago. It is still hard for me to tell and talk about it. My therapist recommended that I find an online support group to help me get through the times when I can't pick up the phone and call someone. I hope this is the place. I can definitely use some support outside of my therapist as she can't be there at all times. I have a friend that supports me and my therapist. Thanks!

Close Self-Injury
I have been cutting since I was 12 and now I am 32.I kept it a secret until 6 years ago.It is still hard for me to talk but I am trying.My therapist wants me to join a support group, so I came here.I hope this is the place for me.I sure need somepace to talk about things and I sure need some friends. - Helping so far, but I just started 2 months ago with this new thrapist.
- Rubber Bands Working / Worked
- It helps a little.
- Talking Somewhat Helpful
- I still have a hard time talking to people, bu it is helpful and it has kept me safe lots of times lately.
