My name is Julie, I live in Penn, USA. I work for an adovocay for the mentally handicap. I have a wonderful family, including my mother, father, sister and brother. I have an amazing boyfriend that loves me no matter what disorder I have, which the list is getting bigger. I have a huge sense of humor about it and will always laugh at myself for it before someone else can. I have been diagnosed with bi-polar, OCD, ADHA, and not sure what will be next.

Julie: Thank you for the information. I did not know this, and it is possible that many people are completely unaware that they are insulting your brother. You should correct them! (nicely, of course) Do not yell at them, they really didn't know. I am sure this is quite tough and it is great to see how protective you are of you little brother even though he is a pain, which is normal, of course! :-) I am colorblind and got on this site accidently, by answering a colorblind post, but I find it so educational, I have stayed on it. I hope that people don't mind. Best wishes and hugs to you and your borther! butterfly

Close Bipolar Disorder
My father was bi-polar and now I am. I was told there was nothing wrong with me my whole life, but I knew there was something. I get extremely angry over nothing and I cry for no reason.
Treatments
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- I have an amazing therapist I've been seeing for 5 years now. I'm about to start medication next week and very nervous about it.
Close Albinism
I have an 11 year old brother Jack who has albinism. He is a normal boy that does normal things, just has to wear sunglasses and like 85 SPF sunscreen. He's a cutie, but as every little brother a pain in my butt..haha
Open Phobia
I have a phobia of many things. Including highways, car washes, tunnels, bridges...you name it and I'm probably afraid of it...normal? I think not!
