Close Back Pain
I was a body builder and a Doctor broke my back five years ago, I have an I plate and I am constantly fighting with doctors over treatment. I need another operation and scared.
Treatments
- Bedrest Working / Worked
- lyrica worked for a year plus, but has seem to start working against me, making me swell and gain weight. Not working on the pain anymore.
- Cortisone (Injection) Working / Worked
- doing it now, am having chess pains from it, yesterday
- Darvon Working / Worked
- makes me moody
- Epidural Injection Working / Worked
- broke out with stips on my legs, nerve damage
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- Helps but I have to have the tens, and it just eases the pain, I do not get released of the pain, god help me
- Ibuprofen Working / Worked
- helps to ease some
- Naproxen Working / Worked
- helps with the swelling
Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI was a body builder and a Dr. broke my back, now it if five years later, I live in constant pain, but I have to watch my three grandkids, one five months old and weighs 20 pounds, Getting really tough on me, need some advice

Open Bipolar Disorder
Did not find out that I was bipolar until after I had three years off drugs and alchohol. I am thankful for my education & what I have learned. It is not a curse, it can be a blessing

- I learned that I am not alone. That this dis-ease is not a curse but can be a blessing, it is what I put into it. Like everything else in life. I pray that I can learn to appreciate the bad days as well as I do the good ones.O

- I notice the difference when I miss one, so I believe that it is helpful.

Open Families & Friends Of Addicts
My husband use to beat me and then when he started to beat on my children it was more than I could take. Al-anon gave me the strength to get thru leaving. That and going to AA meetings and finding out more what the disease is about. Mine had me beat down finacially and physically. It was not easy, but I found strength in a Higher Power which gave me strength within myself. I kept on hoping that he would quit, and dreaming that he would quit, but that was all just a dream, 20 yrs later he's drunk

- Taught me that some of my childhood happenings was a lot of the reason that I stayed. Abuse was the only thing that I have ever known. Ever thought that I was good for. Someone elses wipping post. Physically and mentally
- Al-Anon Working / Worked
- The people in Alanon taught me a lot about the illness and why we stayed, but I had to attend at least 30 meeting in 30 days so to speak, just to learn what was going on. It is a learning process that never ends.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- She taught me how my childhood and adult life all played apart about my existence.
- Talking Working / Worked
- Talking to my therapist taught me that I had no self-esteem and that, being abused was all that I was set on this earth to have happen to me
- Writing Working / Worked
- Taught me a lot about myself, but i had to use other names for fear that he would find it!
- Education (School) Working / Worked
- Taught me that I am not stupid and that I can make something of my life and was my means of escaping his stuff. and it worked
Open Smoking Addiction & Recovery
I have got to quit, or they will not do my surgery, so I figure the doctor is saving my life twice. God this is hard.

- helped me to cut down, but cannot afford them now. So I have to try the cold turkey. I pray God will help give me the strength and courage to carry this out all the way.

Open Chronic Pain
A doctor broke my L-5, and now I have a I plate replacement and four screws in its place. Very Painful
