    • About Me

Hi, I have been suffering from extreme fatigue for many years. When I finally burnt out from working in California, I moved to the Pacific Northwest to be near the pods of orca whales that I have read about and loved since my childhood. Only in recent years have my doctors discovered the source of all my fatigue and pain. I have been diagnosed with an early onset of emphysema, along with a lung condition called Bronchiectasis. In addition, I have a carcinoid tumor growing in the left lower lobe of one lung. It may not be possible to remove this mass surgically, because my lungs are already so damaged. Along with my poor physical health, I struggle daily with psychological issues such as anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, and depression. I want to be healthy and out of pain so I can go back to living my life!

I am interested in orcas, and volunteer my time when I'm able to a non-profit organization I helped start. I'm also interested in programming (mostly PHP/MySQL). I am also a writer, though I haven't really written anything for a number of years.
