I am sorry to hear about your daughter. I know this is difficult to manage. I have a son with MR and each and sometimes each minute he is in a different age bracket. The age range is from k-17. Some of his behaviors resemble a five year old and then you back to I know it all stange of the 17 year old. He is now 27 and living in a group home for special needs adults. I hope your daughter has help taking care of her kids. Somehow those kids grow up to be adult's very quickly and once they reach the 17 year old stage hopefully they begin to resent some of what they had to do growing up. The other part that is sad your daughter may not be able to except them as adult's. I hope this doesn't happen. Thanks for sharing. Good Luck Marg

I agree. The older you get the stubborn you get. In some cases this is not true. I also think it's not how funny you may look, but also trying something new that may help. After all if they were like me, I would was willing to stay the same instead of getting the medical help I needed. I am glad I gave in and feel much better now. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed that they will get help sooner then later. Take care Marg
