Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
I first had trouble getting pregnant.Then I had a misc., I lost 2 more at 5months, finally my daughter came!! I was not able to get pregnant after that. Years of trouble with periods, no help from my dr.Finally went to a endo. I have hypothyroidism and pcos.I still have alot of symptoms and problems but just dont know who to talk to.I am also insulin resistant.
Treatments
- Metformin Somewhat Helpful
- My periods seem to be regulated more,but to much diarrhea
Close Chronic Pain
My family was in a major mva 2yrs ago. I have had headaches, nerve damage,torn disc in c5,c6 causing neck,shoulder,arm,chest pain.feeling of numbness.Been through rehab,several ortho docs and nerosurgeon.now pain management. Also had a tumor removed from my lower spine 5yrs ago. And I have degenerative disc in my lower back.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- Seems to be helping alot with pain. My hands feel a little shakey at times.Little nausea the first week I started it.Having trouble sleeping.Have boosted me to 90mg, no differance.
- Flexeril Somewhat Helpful
- helps me sleep better.does nohting for the pain. Helps relief the muscle tension I get in my neck and shoulder.
- Hydrocodone Not Working
- did nothing but make me sleep
- Keppra Too Soon to Tell
- Lyrica Not Working
- Made me too sick.
- Naproxen Not Working
- does nothing
- Nerve Blocks Not Working
- Did nothing. caused muscle spasm,and serveral days to recover from
- Neurontin Somewhat Helpful
- still have lots of pain, just not as severe. I cant function on a larger dose.Makes me forgetful,sleepy,moody,and sex drive took a nose dive :(
- Physical Therapy Not Working
- Made me worse after mva
Open Hypothyroidism
diagnosed 8 yrs ago,thought I was losing it. could not concentrate at work,sleepy,lack of energy,weight gain,you know the usual stuff,would like to try armour.
Treatments
- Synthroid Working / Worked
- levels are normal,still have alot of symtoms
Open Depression
I was in a MVA in 2006. I have chronic pain and depression from the pain. I have not been myself for a couple of yrs. I did'nt know I was depressed. My husband kept trying to get me to talk with my DR.s about it but I kept dening it. I was sleeping alot did'nt want to do anything all day. But things are starting to get better since they gave me cymbalta for my nerve damage. Who knew! I wish I had done something sooner. b/c it had effected my family life so much.
