She said she's looking
searching for a reason
one more reason to live
She walks in darkness
hides from the light
head lowered
as if searching the ground
Doesn't see the peace
can not find the sleep
Shadows fill her
hiding in the deep
time doesn't heal
the pain she's hides
nor even make it less
she struggles on
in search of dawn
forgetting all the rest
