Poem of the Day #5 Mood
Thursday, February 28, 2008 | A Poem/Artistic story

wrote this one when I was 13 I thought it was kinda cute lol it was for my first crush his mum owned a ranch and so he was often busy working there. It says in my journal that I wrote it after trying to get him to dance with me by his pond under the stars. Yeah I guess I was a hopeless romantic back then too.

Music fills an empty room
that once sat silent as a tomb
Alone she dances 'cross the floor
after carefully locking the wooden door
So much love she has to share
She fills each and every poem with care
A little laughter here sadness there
Only one boy has caught her stare
He works long hours and still shows her love
his words are soft and gentle like a dove
he doesn't like to dance
but she'll give his love a chance

LOVE THE POEM. DO YOU ENJOY LOOKING BACK AT YOUR JOURNALS AND REMEMBERING? I USUALLY CRY WHEN I LOOK THROUGH MY OLD JOURNALS.

well I've cried laughed and dropped to my knees at different points I actually had to mark pages in my journal not to read because they had bad triggers for me for the most part though I really get a good laugh out of them
