About Me
I am a 37yr old mom of three boy's... Married to a great Man almost 13yrs 20yr together there all the love of my life. My 9yr old son Middle child sustained a serios Brain injury this past July 2007... I have been thru a bit in my life. Not one thing can compair to almost losing a child and having a child with a TBI... My Families whole life has changed. I dont know for the better or not its to soon to tell. I guess my saying would be God only gives you what you can handle And I am handling it!!! I dont like it but I do it for the love of my child and boy do I love him!!! He is a true gift a miracle :) I also suffer in pain every day with Fibromyalgia It just never goes away

Sure! Just go to health websites and learn about the important functions of Vitamin E and look into the appropriate dosages for children. Everybody's condition needs to look at individually because no two persons are the same and no two injuries are the same. Close Brain Injury
My name is Kristi I have a 9yr old that on July of 2007 sustained a serios Brain injury. Frontal lobe ,Temporal lobe,Perietal lobe. he was in the hospital for three months Drs' performed a left side craniotomy & Left bone flap thats were they take they take the bone out of the head to give his brain room for swelling He had alot of swelling. Oct1,2007 he had the his own bown replaced discharched home the next day. It has been a long road He is doing well we still have our challenges

Treatments
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- I have been on cymbalta for about 2 yrs it seems to help
- Pamelor Working / Worked
- for sleep yes it helps
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- for pain cant live with out it
Open Dyslexia
My 7yr old was recently diagnosed with ADD and Dyslexia. My insurance paid for a neuropsych testing. The test went very well. He was age approppriate for math social emotional,his reading was extremely low. He has had issues this whole yr He is in first grade he cant sound out words he can not read at all.
