Close Graves' Disease
I have had GD for 8 years. Had goiter,RAI,decompression eye surgary.Still having problems,but better.
Treatments
- Radioactive Iodine Somewhat Helpful
- It got rid of my goiter. Then the eye problems started.
Close Hypothyroidism
I have had Rai done about 5 yr's ago. I did go Hypo shorly after. I am satisfied with my choice as I do feel a whole lot better. I still have a part of my thyroid and got rid of a very large goiter by taking RAI. I would not have done the surgery.
Treatments
- Synthroid Working / Worked
- My dose was raised to .100mg by a doctor I got last Nov. and I am feeling a lot better. No side effects
