Well, pink eye sucks. But at this point I'm hoping it's pink eye. The symptoms could fit viral conjunctivitis (pink eye), episcleritis, or scleritis. The latter two are associated with arthritis, so I'm hoping I haven't developed another "symptom" from my AS.

My eye is somewhat better (no morning screaming in pain... ) but it still doesn't focus completely. It's like looking through glasses that someone has put a film of petroleum jelly on -- sometimes a very thin film, other times great gloopy gobs. And it varies throughout the day. Not real fun for a computer jockey like me.

I'm off to Indianapolis for the weekend. Getting together with my online gaming buddies at a computer gaming event (LAN). Short trip though -- I made my flights Friday evening and Sunday morning so that I wouldn't spend too much time away from my son and his mother, but I kinda wish I had made the flights for Friday afternoon and Sunday evening. Oh well, shouldn't complain; some people don't get vacation at all.

Wife brought up the subject of the holidays last night. She would like to spend one of the coming Big Ones (US Thanksgiving or Christmas) with her family in L.A. I'm all in favor of that, but the drive is frightful. Flying is probably not an option (just too much crap to take...)
