I have been working towards taking control of the things that cause me stress and changing them (as much as possible). I recently moved back to my hometown with my family and am in the process of filing for divorce. Many reasons for the divorce but mainly we grew apart after my husband cheated on me and was causing me a TON of stress. We actually get along better since we both decided to divorce. It's amazing how good you can feel when you change one thing that has caused you stress! It's a crappy situation to divorce, but I know in my heart that it was the right choice. My next goal is to truly devote my efforts to my endo.
I went to Magee's Women's Hospital and say a specialist with endo. It was a good visit and I return in June. I have to many tests, bloodwork, and get a GI evaluation. THANK GOODNESS someone listened!!! Best choice I ever made! The GI specialist is having me use metamucil after dinner and also a pill to take when I get all cramped up. So far I haven't noticed the metamucil working, but its still early! The pill seems to help me and this is good! The specialist says its irritable bowel syndrome. I am also working more into the endo diet/elimination diet and I can tell when I am truly devoted to it, I do well. It is very difficult to stay on though, especially with all the temptations everywhere!!!! My family is very supportive of the diet to an extent, but are concerned about taking supplements. I need to work on this one! I was going to go to a nutritionist, but there are none close to me now that I moved. Someone suggested going to GNC and talking to them, but I am uncertain about the level of help I will get!!! I may try though!
