Iwas a nurse until I ended up with ms. I have had a very hard time dealing with this and letting go of my work. I was just remarried last July to a wonderful man who just happens to be a nurse also. he gives me a lot of support but i would like to talk with other people with ms.

I am not doing much, It is much to cold here right now.. oh I get out and feed the critters and such and get done what has to be done.. do house work and such. but today am not feeling well, head ach and just a feeling of unwellness. so am staying down.. got to walk to the mailbox soon... All I do is go to church twice a week and maybe visit some and go to music practice once a week... I have alot of other problems with my body , my back hurts me alot and can't stand alot or walk for long periods...I have a hernianated disc in neck so that gives me head acks too... and alot of tingleing in hands.... then I have allergys.... if it isn't one thing it is another...lol... I am so glad you are better...that must of been real scary!!!hand in there... all I do is live on day at a time. I have learned that I have to live this journel thru life alone cause I can't take anyone thru the hell I got thru it wouldn't be far,, You are so very bless to have your husband.... best wishes...Demie

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSI was told in nov. of 05 that I had ms. It cost me my job I was a nurse and I understand why but it was still hard to let it go. I have had a lot of trouble with my memory and trimmers. I just want to know how others deal with this and how to get rid of the anger of taking my life and turning it upsidedown. I am also having a ton of trouble with my eyesight.
Treatments
- Baclofen Working / Worked
- it helps a lot and i have had great sucess with it
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- seems to be working and no bad side effects
- Rebif Not Working
- used for 6 months and had a lot of side effects did not seem to help just made me feel bad
- Solumedrol Somewhat Helpful
- had used it 2 times in about 6 months for my virtigo still have the problem but not as bad
- Solumedrol Working / Worked
- used it for vertigo and it worked well just didn't last very long. have had three doses in eight months.
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- HELPS SOME BUT STILL VERY DEPRESSED
