Well so far so good on the pepsi.  Its hard to keep on track with it, when everyone else in the house is drinking it, but I managed, I had a glass of cranberry juice and some water, so I'm happy about that!   I will let you all know about the food at the end of the day.  I have a headache that I can't get rid of, other than that, today has been pretty good so far!

Its 12:26 am now, and well I made it another day with no pepsi.  I got out of the house again today, and I feel really good.  I have to tell about this though.. cause its kinda bugging me.   My brother-n-law and I went to Wal-Mart today and on the side of the road, not far from the store was a homeless man, and a dog.  He had a sign on his bag that said will work for food.  So, this absolutely torn my heart out, and I always think of the song, "What if God was one of us" when I see someone like that.  Anyway, I told my brother-n-law, I've got to stop and get him some food, so I make a mad dash around Wal-Mart getting this homeless man a bunch of food, even stopped and got some dog food for his dog.  We drive and park on the side of the road, I walk over to him and said "I can't help you much, but heres you a little something."  and he looked up at me and said, "I don't have any way to carry any of this, so just take it with you."  I stepped back kind of stunned that my good deed was shot down.  "I said well, I got you some water," and before I could say anything else, he started going thru the bags and looked up at me and said "I can't eat any of this stuff anyway, I'm a diabetic, so just take it with you."  I looked over at my brother-n-law who was staring back at me.  He pulled the dog food out and said, "I'll take this though."  Well, I didn't know what to say or do, I was kind of stunned, while I was standing there, there was another car that drove up, and I turned to look at this man, and he handed a bag out of the window and said "tell him theres something down in the bag for his dog to" and drove away, and the man was actually mad that people were giving him things.  I couldn't believe it!  So, I'm trying not to be hard hearted, but that just made me so mad...

anyway, enough of that.. I didn't drink any pepsi today, and did pretty well on my food.  I don't have any idea how far we walked, we hit a few stores, so I'm sure with all of that, we probably did a mile or more.  So, all in all, today was a good day!
