Support Groups
Close Bipolar Disorder
My husband was diagnosed with bipolar in 2006. I hope I can not only receive support but offer some too.
Treatments
- Depakote Working / Worked
- My husband has been taking this since April 2006 (diagnosis) Seems to be working. 1000mg
- Risperdal Working / Worked
- Started in April 2006, tapered off of it and stopped in January 2007. Hated the side effects. (Low Sex Drive), feeling of being drugged..initially hair loss, but that stopped in 2 weeks, and hunger.
- Abilify Considering
- Will try this med, if he needs to add one instead of risperdal
Close Family & Friends of Bipolar
My husband was diagnosed with Bipolar in the spring of 2006. It's been quite a ride, and I'm still learning.
