My husband & I are going to start classes in the spring to be foster parents. We are hoping to make the transition to adoption with the children that we foster. We were told that we can specify that we can only foster children that they are 95% sure that they are going to be turned over to the state. I don't really know if it's true or if it will delay everything, or what. We made the conscious decision not to have "children of our own". The world is full of children who need love & support.
Close Pet Bereavement
I had to make the agonizing decision to put my beloved ferret, TAZI, to eternal rest on 9/15/07. Not a day goes by when I don't think of him. He had a 3 floor condo & when he wanted me to play in the middle of the night, he either shock the cage so I would hear him, or a couple of times I woke up to him kissing ny nose ( he had a gift 4 opening his cage to come look for me at night). I woke up the other night to hear a cage rattle. I know it was Tazi letting me know he is OK.
