      I am 54, a wife, a mother of one adult child and have been a teacher for almost 30 years. I have been fat for as long as I can remember. I had gastric bypass 2/29/08 and am trying to learn to live this new lifestyle. As of 3/31/09 I have lost 150 lbs.

      I'm so glad you are doing well with the weight loss and the the food addiction is improving. I have had a couple of rough months with the food issues. I was doing so well too. But coping with being ill with this CFIDS disability makes some days just the pitts. Alone after the death of my husband has made everything more of a challenge. It makes me happy to see my DS friends doing well. It helps me to look on the brighter side and do better. (((hugs))) Patricia

      Size 16 is WONDERFUL!!!! CONGRATS!!!! I've been losing a lot of weight these past couple of months now. It is the first time in my life I've lost more then 30 lbs without trying. If it levels off soon it should be good. I'm 5'8" and am now 163 lbs. It really shot up there I think to over 200 lbs with all the stress after my husband died. Also, I'm learning better to 'go with the flow' and 'roll with the punches' better. Keep hanging in there. You inspire a lot of us. (((hugs))) Patricia

    • Close Gastric Bypass Surgery

      I am 50 years old, live in CA. and am scheduled to have gastric bypass at the end of Feb. I would like support and advice.

      I have had Rosacea for about 5 years. I still can't figure out what triggers my bad outbreaks. I am very frustrated.

      Treatments

      Finacea Somewhat Helpful
      It helps a little, but does not stop the outbreaks.
      MetroGel Not Working
      Did nothing.
