About Me
The drawing above is by my son Jordan (who is incarcerated) for his baby boy Maddox. I am divorced, quiet, home body. My youngest son, Jordan, age 23, is incarcerated. He has been in jail on and off for the past 9 years. He faces prison this time for 4-6 years. He has a baby boy, 6 months old now. I am devastated that he is back in jail and that he faces prison. I am not coping well at all. I am very close to my son, I feel such a loss and I worry so much about him. I miss him terribly. I work full time in an office close to home. I have 4 children-oldest son 39 married with 2 babies, daughter 37 living in CA she has 2 children, son 26 lives in NY, and my youngest son 23.

Interests
I like photograpy, sewing, animals, the beach, movies, soap operas (yes, I am addicted to them-I record them during day and watch at night!) Love taking videos and photos of my children and grandchildren. I love babysitting for Jordan's baby Maddox when Lori is working on weekends. I also spend every other weekend at my oldest son's home with his wife and 2 babies.

Close Families of Prisoners
My youngest son, age 23, is in jail again. He has been in jail on and off for the past 9 yrs. My heart is completely broken. I am not coping well at all, I have no support system. I am divorced, live alone. My son has a baby boy, age 5 mths now. He was in jail when his son was born. He is devastated by the poor choices he made that have resulted in him being separated from his baby and his girlfriend, the baby's mom. He faces prison this time, may go away for 4-6 yrs. I am in so much pain.
Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionHistory clinical depression, anxiety. Symptoms worsening. Going back to psychiatrist for reeval and med adjusment. More depressed than usual last few months. I barely make it to work (a job that I hate for alot of reasons) everyday, but I am at least still managing that. I isolate myself, started 9 years ago and now i am wondering if I have become agoraphobic almost? I used to be a very social person and now I am a recluse (sp?) Seeking support.
Treatments
- Paxil Somewhat Helpful
- Been taking for past 19 years. Other SSRIs made me sick. This helps 50%.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Was in therapy for 15 years. Helped about 50%.
- Trazodone Not Working
- Taken with the paxil as sleep aid. I have insomnia. This med made my very irritable, angry. Stopped taking.
- Zoloft Not Working
- Made me have flu like symptoms. could not take.
