  Hey Christine.. I'm not sure if you remember this... but a long time ago you made a similar post about a reaction someone had to your new appearance.. and in a reply I told you that you are "hot".. hehe. You messaged me back saying "I'm not hot, but thank you".. that was just the beginning.. we all have to face the fact that in many peoples eyes we are different and "more attractive".. even though this may hurt our feelings.. and isn't fair. I guess we have to have tougher skin in these situations... we can't help how others react.. we can only help educate.. and YOU have helped me soo much over the long time I have spent on DS .. and I thank you for that!! I see so many pictures of newcomers on here and think to myself.. "in a few short months I will hardly recognise these women".. and it's always true.. and in most cases they look 20 years younger.. this is a coming out process for those around us as well.. so we have to be able to let them have the time they need to grieve the loss of "the person they thought they knew".. even when we don't feel like someone different at all.... and yes you do look amazing and that smile is going to get attention!!.. hehe!!!

  I have noticed a big change in the way I am treated since I am now a "normal" weight. I am going to enjoy it for now. I did have the same reaction at first. "angry and upset" But now I am enjoying the door being opened for me.

  You are going to be the bell of the ball. I wish I had made this decision a few years back when my daughter got married. All the days of my life I will regret not having been healthier and happier for that special day. Congratualtion on your "New Life" and to your daughter. Enjoy that night it will absolutely go by so fast its going to make your head spin. I'd never looked at your photos of your journey until now, wow.
