Well it is starting to get cooler here in the midwest. I don't want the warmer weather to leave but that is the way things goes. Hubby got home today & I am so glad to see my dog & hubby of course. It seams to be alittle quite around here. I think most of the ladies have gone away or something, or I don't have much to talk about. I know it has been 15 years since my son died but I still need others to talk to even if it is a so called normal conversation. I know I don't aways answer everyone's journal, but sometimes I just pray abou what that person has to say & go from there. I am not very good at somethings when it comes to talking about dying. I know what all you ladies are going through, being you are in the early stages of this journey that we are on. I just want you all to know that I enjoy reading your journals and seeing how everyone is doing. I just wish that we all lived so much closer so that maybe once a month we all could get together to have lunch or something like that. I hope that the get together next time is closer so that I might be able to go & meet more of the ladies face to face. I have meet a few of the ladies here in Missouri & we all got along just great. You would have thought we had know each other all of our lives, but I guess this journey kind of brings us close even though we don't like how we have gotten to know each other.
Well Ladies I hope that you all have a great day. Those of you in Georgia I am praying that God will stop the rain for awhile so that you can all dry out. I hope no one has gotten flooded out.

I am glad you popped in and let us know how you are doing.
As of late this morning, the Interstates are open again, Hopefully, we will have an easier commute home. There is still a lot of roads closed here in Douglas County. The water is receding, but some of the bridges and roads have been compromised. We have conflicting reports. Either 9 or 10 lost their lives, and most of them were from Douglas County. School has been closed until next Monday. Just horrible.

Thanks for the update. It does seem like a lot of ladies are gone. Sometimes I get busy for a little while and then return. They will as well. Stay in touch. Love Robin

It is always good to hear from you, and I also enjoy reading and catching up on everyone, even though I may not always know what to say to comfort, but I can be here to listen. Glad to hear your hubby is home and safe. Hugs, Kim

I don't write that often (except lately about my dreams)...but I love hearing from you and the other moms...finding out what is going on in their lives. How they are coping or struggling. I think that you help us because you are further along on the journey than many...so thank you. I agree that there seems to be less activity here than there used to be...but I think this site offers a special support that we could not find anywhere else...take care...and a big ole hug...Karen
