I have been on vacation this week.  Haven't done much of anything really.  I have been getting in some exercise.  Ran some errands.  Got my oil changed today and went to the car wash.  My car is all shiny now!  Went for a walk today with the dog.  My knee feels good.  Other than Monday, have been over 10k steps every day.  Only got to the Y once so far this week, but will try to go tomorrow.  Food/calories have been good.  Still periodically having bloating/gas issues.  Gas-X really helps.  (JM, I did get the Papaya enzyme and also some Probiotics.  Will start taking that tomorrow and will let you know how that works.)

I went to the Dr yesterday.  Had bloodwork done last week.  Dr's office called and said to come in.  Turns out I have high Creatinine levels which shows possible lower kidney function.  Dr says we will keep an eye on it.  But I have been online all over the place and other possible causes, besides kidney disease/problems is eating a lot of beef the day before or doing strenuos exercise.  IDK.  But I am not taking anything for it or taking any additional tests at this point, so it must not be too serious.  The other really interesting thing:  my vitamin D is very very low.  He put me in prescription strength vitamin D, 50,000 iu's, once per week x 10 weeks.  ALSO, I am on 1000 iu's per day of vitamin D and 1,500 iu's per day of calcium.

David has been doing great.  One meltdown last night at dinner, but he snapped out of it relatively quickly.

Praying I lose some weight this week.  Hard to tell with the bloating feeling.  Last few days I have been constantly hungry.  Yesterday was REALLy bad and I went to bed last night feeling like I was starving.  I have been at around 1500 calories on average per day for last 2 weeks +.  And exercising almost every day, either the Y, or walks or Gazelle for at least 30 mins.  I have also been very very tired this week, but getting extra sleep since I have been on vacation.

Still finishing my "The Lost Symbol" book by Dan Brown.  Just getting to the good part about 1/2 way.  Really bummed that the Phillies lost the world series.  Part of the reason I have been SO tired as I have been up late watching all these games over the last few weeks.  Penn State plays Ohio State tomorrow!  Big game!  Home game.  So you KNOW where I will be tomorrow!  Big bummer though is my big screen tv broke last week!  We are currently watching a "little" 32" screen until we get a replacement.  And no Wii until we get a replacement.  Bummer again!  Looking to get Wii Fit Plus and also Wii Resort from Santa for Christmas this year.  As the weather begins to get cold/rainy, etc, I will be doing exercises indoors more.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Thanks for the comment on my journal. I know what you mean about being always hungry. But your doing great on your excersizes. I hope you get the Wii Fit for Christmas. It is supposed to be a really good program. Sorry your large srceen TV is broke. Football is more fun on a big TV. My son's favorite football team is Penn State. Too bad they are loosing right now. Family night tonight. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. - Julie

How is that Dan Brown book? I really want to read it, but haven't invested the money yet. Let me know. Glad that knee is better.
