Only lost .5 lbs this week! GRRRR!!!! 
My steps were great, my exercise was great. Even the calories were good. Not great, but good. Per Fitday, I should have lost 1 1/2 lbs. But towards the end of the week (like the last few days), I was kind of run down. Still did exercise but just felt exhausted for some reason. Also, I was very bloated and irregular and gassy. Just physically felt "off." I know I need to watch my carbs better. Maybe this has something to do with it. Calories again were good (down 5242 for the week.) But a lot of carbs. I am sure I need to drink more water. It is SO much more difficult for me to drink water when it is cold out. So maybe some decaf herbal tea? And I only did weights twice this week. So this week, will try to focus on what I am eating a little more. Maybe my portions were a little off. But I was really HUNGRY this week too. But I did notice I ate less fruits and veggies this week than last week. Is it not only the calories but the types of calories that matter?
And the Phillies lost last night! Drat! Bummer! 
I would LOVE to be a size 10 by Christmas. That is almost 2 months. We'll see. I hate disappointment but gotta shoot for something.
I had looked in the mirror earlier in the week with the size 12 jeans on. For the first time in a really long time, I thought: "Wow! Not bad. I can do this." I actually saw a noticeable difference. Finally, as I am down 18 lbs I am really beginning to notice. But the last couple of nights, with the bloating, felt awful. I felt "fat" again. Ugh! I looked at photos of myself from a year ago, while on vacation with Paul and David at Carlsbad Caverns. Wow! I looked awful. So I just have to focus on getting past this frustration and keep going.

.5 lost is better than .5 gained! Did you take measurements? With all the exercise you have been doing you may have lost inches...muscles weights more than fat! It is so great that you are liking what you see in the mirror! WooHa!

Way to go! any loss is great! I am so proud of you, i haven't been a size 12 since Freshman year of high school! LOL YOU CAN DO THIS GIRL!

you go girl.... your doing great w/diet... .5lb is not bad.. i know it would be better to lose more but like bird said it's better to lose.... size 12..can't remember when i was that small....

I just wanted to say WOW! I admire your persistence, I really do. The fact that you've stuck with your program through ups and downs is great! It's hard when it feels like no progress is being made (in all areas of our lives, ya know?!)...BUT -- then a breakthrough happens and it feels like it was all worth it. Stick with it! Way to go! :) xx
