My first really big college party was the night before halloween.  I went to this place that's known for it's crazy partys.  It cost 5 bucks to get in. The woman that was taking the money was a true blue bouncer.  She scared me for sure.  So my friends and I weren't there for more than an hour when A. comes running by me, eyes wide, and says Let's go.  He grabs my hand and tells me the cops are here. They were banging on the front door.

I was drunk surrounded by a bunch of underaged drunks.  Holy crap.  I was in trouble.  A.  and I went to the back of the house to a bedroom.  About 10 to 15 people were sitting around waiting for their fate, except for 3 girls.  They opened the shade of the only window in the room, removed the board infront of it, and hopped out.  I knew A. and I were next.  So A. shoved my ass out while the girls helped me from the other end.  I had to drag my leg across the windowsill to get out.  Once A. and I were out we met up with L. who escaped through the kitchen door.  A. was freaking out because my roommates and his girlfriend were stuck inside.  We must have walked around in circles, ended up at the diner to rest, then went back to the car.  A. didn't want to leave without his gf so he told L. to take me home. He was drunk too.

Later that night, after walking about 2 miles in dressy shoes, thighs rubbing red together, we made it home.  

When my roommates and A. made it back and told me about how they hid in a closet for over an hour, almost got caught and eventruelly came out and got off with barely a warning.  Some were cited with underaged drinking at the party, but none of them were.  A. had tried to get back in and was banging on the window that we had escaped from.  The guy on the other side opened it and A told him that his gf was in there.  The guy said, "I'm saving your live" and shut the window on A.  Thankfully after all of that everyone got home safe.

It was my first, last, and ONLY college party. I'll never risk that again.  Not to mention that my leg is purple from being dragged out the window, but I'll take that over an arrest or citation anyday.
