      I gave blood for years when I was able to, a good feeling to know others are helped so much and it only takes an hour of your time. My husband has had 4 transfusions in the past 30 years (crohns) so a gold star to those that take the brief time to donate, esp yourself when you have UC. Thanks.

      Hi! Just saw in apost you'd started Imuran- were you having more problems? Still trying to coax my brother in law into being more pro-active. He is at least talking openly to me... only goes once or twice a day now- but has a decent amount of blood every single time. Says it's been months since he didn't - and the "off" time was only about a month....
