Well, I went for my blood test this morning at 07.10 and stright to work after. They are calling me with the results between 12 - 4.00pm …

Thank you so much for the encouragement, it means a lot. I also believe staying postive helps. When I get too negative I have bad results. I go in tomorrow to see how many follies have matured. Good luck on your scan. 3 months is great! Please let me know how it goes.

Close Endometriosis
I have only been diagnosed with Endo within the last year after trying for children for over 18 months with no sucess. I have always had painfull periods but thought this was normal! I have had the usual mis diagnosis of PCOS and Pelvic Inflammatory Disease until I had my first Lap & Dye last year where it was discovered I had severe Endo. I have had another Lap done just last month where they have only managed to clear one tube.
Treatments
- Hysteroscopy Working / Worked
- Awaiting results of this. Heard some ladies found this really painful but this was Ok for me.
- Laser Surgery Working / Worked
- Managed to clear one tube and the other remains twisted and blocked.
- Surgery Working / Worked
- I had one lap & dye last year, this basically just diagnosed severe endo. There was too much to remove in the first op so went on Zoladex and then had anothe lap and laser surgery to remove as much as possible. They only managed to clear one tube so the other tube remains blocked , twisted and stuck to my bowel. Both ovaries are ok and functioning normally.
- Zoladex Working / Worked
- This did what it was set out to do ie stop my periods so no more endo gre whilst waiting for lap & dye. The HRT made me develop a blood clot in my left calf! Did not have very bade side effects whilst on HRT but had one month without and just had a few hot flushes - nothing too bad.
Close Infertility
I have been trying without sucess for the last two years to get pregnant and was diagnosed last year with severe endometriosis. After two ops I am now on the waiting list for IVF which I should start in September. Feels like a lifetime away!!
Treatments
- Basal Thermometer Working / Worked
- No use for me!
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Still taking - Just in case!
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- Waiting for results of this! Some women find this painful but it was OK for me, bit of cramping afterwards but nothing too bad.
- In Vitro Fertilization Working / Worked
- Waiting for!! Start taking the meds in September and then have the IVF procedure in October.
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Working / Worked
- This was good, showed I was ovulating but as my tubes are blocked it would make no difference for my chances of getting PG.
Open Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
I was diagnosed with a calf vein DVT in September and now have just developed a second one in the same leg but a slighlty different place. They think this was sue to taking HRT but think only!!!

Open Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility
I am three weeks pregnant after trying for three years. I was lucky enough to get a BFP after the first try at IVF.
