      Acute MI at the age of 26. Living a normal life following four angiograms, placement of four stents, and restenosis resulting in 100% blockage of the LAD that the doctors could not clear with multiple attempts.

      Treatments

      Angioplasty Working / Worked
      Four stents placed. Suffered restenosis. Currently no angina.
      Dietary Modification Working / Worked
      low cholesterol, low saturated fat intake
      Plavix Working / Worked
      Haven't had another heart attack ;)
      Lipitor Working / Worked
      Had to reduce dosage from 40 to 10 mg incrementally due to poor liver function. Initial total cholesterol of 169, now down to 127.
    • Close Heart Attack

    • Open Coronary Heart Disease

      Heart attack @ age 26. Two 100% blockages. Four stents placed, restenosis occurred in one. Feeling great.

      Total Cholesterol was only 160 at time of MI. Has gone as low as 125, now around 140.
