Retired Marriage & Family Therapist living in suburb of Portland Oregon. Diagnosed with MS late in life. I've been back here in Oregon since June '05 (left in 1969 for the SF Bay Area and spent 37 years there). I miss CA dearly but can no longer afford to live there as I don't work. I am on Disability. I live with my two hideously spoiled Shih Tzus, Puck & Jett!

I do better in heat than in cold, but once the thermostat has had enough heat, that's it for me, too.
your hugs are posting twice?

I don't know how I could live without AC! I met an 81 yr old in Palatka at Festival #9 and she told me she never had AC in her life. I don't know how she does it. Actually, in Fla, I don't need AC... the HOUSE does, to keep mold from setting in.
I am disabled with MS, am retired and have trouble living on a fixed income, even with a small annuity.I still pay property taxes as I am a homeowner.
I have MS. Dxd. 2001.
