. I have 1 daughter age 37. She lives in Maine. I am Bipolar but I am totally controlled by meds and I walk the straight and narrow. I see a Pdoc for meds and a Phd for counseling.I am currently awaiting quaduple bypass open heart surgery. All four of my main arteries are blocked, but my heart attack was a silent one. I never had any symptoms. I go in on Dec 12th at 5am. Wish me good luck and say a few prayers for me.

I know it is scarey. I had a 6 way bypass 2 1/2 years ago. It really isn't that bad - more scarey than bad. Keep doing what they tell you to do and you will be fine. I'm sending only positive thoughts your way. You will be back taking care of the grandkids before you know it.

I've been married to a man with ED for 23yrs wirh no sex. He doesn't even try anymore. Pills don't work and he wont she a psychologist. Noe he says he is divorcing me to have a baby with a woman 14yrs his junior. I laughed. They haven't had sex yet and they have been seeing each other for 4 months. He says I am the only woman for him for the rest of his life. He was going to come up to see me this week but he did not have the money. Well this week he accepted a big job in CA and he is moving there on July 2nd. I am just worried our relationship will get lost when he gets to know new people in CA. He will forget all about me

Open Coronary Heart Disease
It was found on an EKG that I had had a bad myocadial infaction of the interior wall of my heart. I felt nothing. Now I have to have a heart cath. My heart is only perfusing at 27% where normal is 50-75%. The doctor said I could drop dead at any time right now.

I was going to have bariatric surgery but the ekg on preop day showed I had had a heart attack. So now I keep my portions very small and exercise everyday and I am loosing weight on my own

- walk everyday starting with a half a mile then build up to 4miles a day

- group comitment to each persons individual goal. They talk about a different subject every time it counts. They also educate you on tricks to weight eg if you feel hungry, maybe we can go to a concert of our favorate artist
