Just a little update.... basically had a day off today, so I rested up, which was nice. Belly dance was cancelled tonight so I went to the gym …
I am currently wrapping up my collegiate career (I graduate this may!), and am finally ready to put an end to my weight loss/gain rollercoaster that I have been on for the majority of my life. I believe in healthy eating and hard work to achieve my goals. I love cooking healthy and delicious meals and breaking a ferocious sweat.

I have struggled with my weight for the majority of my life. Overweight as a child, I began a serious weight loss campaign (after MANY failed attempts) the summer before my junior year of high school. I successfully lost 50lbs (going from 200lbs to 150lbs) and kept it off until the middle of my sophomore year of college, when I noticed it had crept up on me. Currently, I am 185lbs and would like to be back around my low-weight-- anywhere from 150lbs to 160lbs is fine by me!
Getting back into the swing of things, starting back up making exercise a part of my daily routine as I pursue my goal of changing the way I look.
For a large part of my life, I felt as though I was in a constant battle with food. I was a vegetarian for eight years and really cultivated a love to cook semi-recently (within the last 3-4 years when I changed my lifestyle around)... I am a healthy eater, I just need to cut out the extra junk food that is weighing me down!!!
