Hi florcia, I have never heard of silent acid reflux. I hope you don't find me too ignorant, but what is silent acid reflux. Anyway, Welcome to DS. I hope you get to feeling better.

Close GERD & Heartburn
Up until Mar. 2007, I may have tgaken a dozen aspirin all my life. However, I have been diagnosed with emphysema last March, and medicine began. I became very hoarse, unable to sing or talk without an effort. An ENT diagnosed me with Silent Acid Reflux. I never had heartburn or any problem with anything I ate. Has anyone heard of it? I have been on prilosec until recenly and now on Nexium. I'm still hoarse and I still DON'T have heartburn, but my doctors insist I have Silent Acid Reflux.
