Close Fibromyalgia
I am a mother of two boys and have been diagnosed with FM for five years. I also have degenerative disc disease and am going in tomorrow for a rhizotomy which means severing of a nerve in my lower back in hopes of helping stop my unbearable pain... I am tired and scared and at my wits end with both diseases.
Treatments
- Duragesic Patch Working / Worked
- used to work until they started breaking out my skin
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- sometimes seems to hurt more after heat is off
- Morphine Working / Worked
- somehwat works but scary to have to take everyday
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- also taking for two anurysms that are in my brain. i had brain surgery for them five years ago
- TENS Not Working
- didn't work
- Ultram Working / Worked
- used to be prescribed was switched to another muscle relaxer

- going in for one tomorrow
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- also taking for brain anurysms that i had surgery for five years ago
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- yes for breakthrough pain
- TENS Not Working
- didn't help
